What type of returns are most people looking and the time invested for thier IRA investments? I have found that 10-12% keeps every one happy. They invest for 2-3 years. Comments/

If I can't achieve a 20% return on my Roth money, I usually just leave it in mutual funds. I have been successful working with developers and contractors, with creative investments, to reach the 20% mark on a regular basis.
